Picking the right affiliate program(s) for your website

If you already have a website established

Choosing an affiliate program which offers a product that your readers really will find interesting and beneficial is the greatest piece advice that I can offer (along with how not to get stuck in the two tier trap). I won't patronise you by explaining why this is.

I see so many websites that are trying to sell a product completely unrelated or of no interest to their readers maily because it has a good percentage comission.

If no-one who reads your site has an interest in the product then it doesn't matter if it has a fantastic percentage comission and a great second tier comission, because if no-one buys the product then you won't see any of that comission anyway.
